Melanie D’Evelyn serves at the director for the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Detroit Drives Degrees (D3) initiative, which seeks to increase postsecondary attainment to accelerate both economic prosperity and social mobility throughout out the Detroit region. In 2017-2018, she was selected as an Education Attainment Fellow by the Association for Chamber of Commerce Executives.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Melanie worked for ten years in public policy and federal advocacy in Washington, DC. Melanie has a Master in Public Policy degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School and a Bachelor of Arts from Principia College.
