Stephanie Shaw serves as the Executive Director of Eastern Ohio Education Partnership. As Executive Director Stephanie is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Partnership; which collaborates with education, business, community and civic leaders to create and respond to opportunities that will add sustainable and measurable value to education. Prior to her role at Eastern Ohio Education Partnership Stephanie spent 14 years at EMBARQ (Sprint). She worked as the Regional Public Affairs Manager for 26 Ohio markets and as EMBARQ’s Regional Business Development Manager for Ohio, Indiana and Western Pennsylvania.
Stephanie is affiliated with a host of civic and volunteer organizations. She serves on Youngstown State University’s College of Creative Arts and Communication Visitors Board, the Howland Community Scholarship committee, Kent State Trumbull’s Board of Trustees and she serves on the Northeast Ohio Adoption Services’ board.
A Warren City School graduate, Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies from Youngstown State University. Her service to the community has garnered her several awards and recognitions including: Top Five MVP, Top Forty Most Influential People Under Forty, Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley; Top Twenty-Five Most Influential Women in Trumbull County, Tribune Chronicle; and 2013 Non-Profit Leader of the Year, Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber. Stephanie was also a Youngstown State University Alumni of the Month and a two-time ATHENA nominee.
As Executive Director Stephanie envisions Eastern Ohio Education Partnership as a partnership between parents, students, educators and the community. A partnership that includes common goals such as increased post-secondary attainment by students who are prepared day one, and parent/educator run programs that enhance the school-learning environment.
Stephanie is active in the children’s ministry at her home church, Believer’s Church, and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, bringing old furniture back to life, and cooking. She resides in Howland with her husband, and their three sons.
