Letter to Congress from 56 Organizations on Supporting Student Parents Through CCAMPIS

WASHINGTON — Today, Higher Learning Advocates and 55 organizations sent a letter to the Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education strongly urging Congress to increase funding for the Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Program to $500 million. The increase is the amount needed to provide child care support to approximately 6% of Pell-eligible parenting students of children ages 0-5.
